I really enjoyed “Where’s Merrill?“
I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. The story is interesting and creatively written. It takes you through the process of the genealogist, Jed, who you get to know while he is researching Merrill. As the process is never a straight path, you get Merrill’s imaginative story as it unfolds. Using different coloured text when alternating from past to present was very clever. There are diagrams of Merrill’s family tree as you go along and new people are found and added. The diagrams are handy, though it is written clearly enough that you can follow along without having to refer to them. Anyone having an interest in genealogy would want to give this a read!
